His first letters sent home.

It is the sweetest thing for me to read. He really loves Lynnae and Landen. He has always been so kind and loving to them. It is also touching for me because when Kymberlee was on a mission she played Tic Tac Toe with Lynnae. At the time I had no idea that Boyce was paying attention to them playing the game through letters. He was. Now he wants to do the same with Landen and Lynnnae. It has taught me that our children watch the small and simple things we do. We never know when they will follow. 

 

 

 

Six Flags

All summer long we have been going to Hurricane Harbor. It has been so much fun. Today was the last weekday Hurricane Harbor will be open for the summer. We decided to go to Six Flags instead. It was also the last weekday they will be open for this season. It was lots of fun.

Greenie Party

When Lindee first arrived on her mission a family gave her a "greenie" party. So now to play it forward we have a "greenie" party whenever Justin Ward get a missionary right out of the MTC. Elder Hanson arrived in Texas, Justin Ward on Aug 10, 2016. It is the same day Boyce reported to the MTC. It is such a fun way to remember my two awesome missionaries. We ate mint Oreo cupcakes and drank green milk. 

Our last and first greenie party was with Elder Hassinger(trainer) and Elder Taylor(greenie). It was in Oct 2015. Elder Taylor's Mom, Dad and Sister met Lindee 
and brought her Oreos at Thanksgiving 2015. It was awesome!!!

They have such a sweet relationship. This is the hardest part of Boyce being a missionary. Two years is a long time in the life of a five year old. Landen will really miss him.

Earlier that day Kevin, myself and Boyce went to the temple. Next he wanted to go to Vito's Pizza and Pasta.(Levi must have told him how good it was). It was a great day with my sweet Boyce, who is now Elder  Fenn. Love that boy!!!
